Pete Tong Picks Up The Chemical Brothers and More For His New Agency

Pete Tong's New Agency

It's all gone to Pete Tong.

New York-based electronic booking agency Vital Talent has shut up shop, following the departure of its founder: Gerry Gerard.

The agency’s roster, which included Chemical Brothers, Underworld, the Prodigy and Mark Knight, will be picked up by William Morris Electronic: a new electronic division of William Morris Agency, co-founded by Pete Tong.

According to Pete’s co-founder Joel Zimmerman, WME aims to create a "boutique agency model within the larger agency," and, as well as those mopped up from Vital Talent is home to Paul van Dyk, Soulwax, Basement Jaxx, Deadmau5, Fatboy Slim, DJ Shadow, Goldfrapp and Groove Armada.
