Phil and Paul are back?Classic house outfit Orbital have announced several extra reunion shows across the UK. The band is scheduled to perform at two major festivals as well as playing at two 'Orbital only' bashes. Are we witnessing the resurrection of legends here? Orbital's members Phil and Paul Hartnoll say that acts such as Klaxons and Pendulum rekindled their love for 'ravey' stuff. This news will.. especially be welcomed by 30+ ravers and those eager to dive deeper in the history of house music as we know it today. The band is scheduled to perform at RockNess in Scotland on June 13th and Global Gathering on July 24th. Other shows include solo performances at Manchester Academy on September 19th and at London Brixton Academy on September 25th.Orbital is internationally regarded one of the most important outfits in electronic music ever and one of the first ever house music acts to perform live on stage. During their two-decade career, the duo has squeezed out several anthems such as the evergreen Chime and Satan's Spawn which featured Metallica's Kirk Hammett on vox and guitar.
