Friday, 08 February 2008
TIGA Podcast 5

Tiga has joined forces with the likes of the Scissor Sisters, Rihanna, Rufas Wainwright, Timbaland, and others to create a new collection - Fashion Against Aids - with H&M

The artists involved have designed a range of T-shirts, tank tops and hoodies for the project, which was initiated by Designers Against Aids; a charitable organization with the aim of raising awareness about the spread of HIV/AIDS among young people.

H&M's Fashion Against AIDS range will be available from February as part of its younger Divided label, with 25 precent of the proceeds going to HIV/AIDS-prevention projects around the world.

Tiga has recorded a special MY Name Is Tiga (Fashion Against Aids) podcast in which he talks about the project, about his hoodie design, plays love songs, and interviews Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters.

Christopher Lawrence Moves Down Under!

News
Wednesday, 30 January 2008
Christopher LawrenceUS DJ and producer Christopher Lawrence has moved to Melbourne, Australia. Having lived in Los Angeles for the past fourteen years, Christopher has risen to fame as one of the world's top international dance talents headlining festivals and clubs around the globe.

Christopher says "DJs tend to move abroad a lot. I had been thinking about moving overseas for a while and my wife is Australian, so it was a natural choice. I have traveled the world and Melbourne is a fantastic city. It is very cosmopolitan. Every time I tell a DJ I've moved to Australia, they say it's their favorite country to visit."

The trans Pacific move sees Christopher joining Carl Cox, who also maintains a summer home in Melbourne. The city is also home to producer Dirty South.

But what of the distance? "One thing is for sure" Christopher laughs "I'll be racking up a lot of frequent flyer miles".

Christopher Lawrence will continue his hectic international tour schedule, and will maintain a base in his long time home Los Angeles, where he will begin work on his third artist album this year.Christopher Lawrence

Christopher will officially launch his label Pharmacy with his single "Beyond the Limit" (a collaboration with John 00 Fleming), as well as his new radio show in 2008. Christopher is also scheduled to release a double mix compilation 'Unfold' in Europe on Fektive Records this Spring.
