Tour bus found in Los Angeles parking lot.
The Kills missing tour bus has been found, but details are yet to emerge about what exactly happened.
A spokesperson for the band tells nme.com that the bus was found today (October 6), abandoned in a Los Angeles parking lot. All the band's gear and belongings were still on board.
The bus and driver mysteriously disappeared last week after the driver took the vehicle to get new tyres fitted, and failed to meet up with the band in Austin, TX on their tour opening for The Raconteurs.
The band lost all their luggage in the incident, which resulted in an FBI search for the driver and the bus
The band is the latest acts to be announced in the Myspace Secret Show series.

DC-10 closed forever?
Ibizavoice.com is reporting that authorities closed DC-10 this morning mere minutes before Circoloco was set to begin with its penultimate 2008 edition.
The embattled venue was closed earlier this summer, forced by authorities to serve out the remainder of the 60 day ban that had been handed down in 2007. After opening again in mid-August for business, however, last week the Sant Josep Council made the decision to inform the club of yet another sanction: a €300,000 fine and closure for 1 year.
Once again, it seems as if the legal issue is the capacity of the club, which is only officially allowed to have 65 people on the premises at any one time. Ibizavoice reports that DC10 appealed the decision, but that "the Judge refused to retract after balancing the financial interests of DC10 with the obvious discrepancy in the number of people allowed in, and actually attending, the club."
As it stands now, the next time it will be possible for the club to open will be in 2010, but considering how arduous the legal process has been thus far, we'd advise clubbers not to hold their breath. The Ibiza hotspot may finally have seen its 'final' party.
DC-10, located in an former airport hangar just a stone’s throw from the runway of Ibiza Airport is a covered terrace with a sideroom that squeezes in 1500 clubbers, but you don't come for the decor - the club has been most famous for its wild all-day Monday Circoloco parties. With world class headliners, underground techno and the wildest atmosphere on the island.

Bass player Peter Hook turned DJ reflects on band's demise
Peter Hook has spoken out about the last days of his former band New Order, claiming that a lack of communication had left the band "an empty shell".
Speaking as part of BBC Radio 2's New Order week, the bass player spoke about how relations between himself and frontman Bernard Sumner had broken down.
New Order split up last summer, apparently for the final time.
Asked by DJ Stuart Maconie about the prospects of the band burying the hatchet, Hook explained: "I've no idea really. Sometimes you wonder what you were arguing about.
"From what I can gather, Bernard was upset that I didn't go and see him to tell him that I didn't want to work with him anymore. To my mind it had gone.
"I had a manager and I was paying my manager 20 per cent, so got her to do the dirty work. I didn't see why I had to do my own dirty work. She told him in February and he never said anything, he just went, 'Right'."
Hook also spoke of his anger at the 'New Order' statement released by his bandmates that claimed Hook had gone to the press without telling the other band members he had left the band.
"I told him every night after the Brazilian tour that I wasn't going to do this again," Hook said. "I did Brazil for the money. I just felt it was like an empty shell, New Order. It really was for me. I can't talk for the others."
However, Hook went on to say that the process of remastering the band's five albums for Factory Records had given him closure on the turbulence.
"I must admit that when I listened to it, I was really proud of them [his former bandmates]," he said. "It did cheer me up because it made me realise that while we fight like kids in the playground we actually achieved something that we should all be proud of."

Crystal Castles reveal how they escaped the clutches of the law
Crystal Castles have revealed how they used a getaway car to escape from Brighton police – after officers were called during a particularly raucous show by the electro duo.
Ethan Kath told The Independent that during a recent festival show in the coastal town, which he didn't specify, authorities were called because of the frenetic antics of frontwoman Alice Glass.
"They called the cops on Alice for riling up the crowd," he explained. "After our show, the promoter said the police were there to arrest her and we needed to disappear, so we had to get in a getaway car."
Elaborating on why the police may have been called, Kath added, "The live experience is all about Alice.
"She is a mental case on stage, and is just uncontrollable. She loses herself in the music. After the show, she is covered in bruises and she can't remember how they got there."
