Guns N' Roses Record Leaker To Plead Guilty

Kevin Cogill changes his plea to strike a deal with the feds.

The man accused of leaking several Guns N Roses tracks online from their new album 'Chinese Democracy' has agreed to plead guilty, a federal prosecutor announced.

Kevin Cogill, 27, will enter his guilty plea to one federal count of copyright infringement at a hearing on December 8, Craig Missakian, assistant US attorney, told the Associated Press.

Cogill is accused of violating federal copyright laws by uploading nine of the albums tracks on his website this summer. He was arrested at his home in Los Angeles in August, and was released on bail.

He originally entered a not-guilty plea in Los Angeles Federal Court last month, but has reportedly agreed to change his plea to guilty.

Details of the plea deal that Cogill reached with federal prosecutors have not been revealed and it'still unclear how he obtained the copies of the Guns N Roses tracks. The album, if you've yet to hear it will be released in 4 days on Saturday November 24.
