International superstar DJ/producer Ferry Corsten spins this Saturday Night at the Shrine Expo Center in downtown Los Angeles in support of ‘Corsten’s Countdown Mix,’ a digital release compilation on Ultra Records.

“Corsten’s Countdown Mix is based on a one-hour weekly radio show that Ferry began in the summer of 2007 where he introduces new tracks and plays his favorite records of the moment while listeners vote on his website for the countdown show that airs at the end of each month.

‘Architect, pioneer and instigator,’ Ferry Corsten won ‘Best Trance DJ’ last September at one of the most prestigious dance music awards in the world, the annual ‘DJ Awards in Ibiza.’ The Holland native, one of only five DJ’s to have been voted in the top 10 in the world by DJ Magazine’s ‘Top 100 DJ’ for the last five years, is considered a tastemaker in this genre of dance music. He tours non-stop internationally and is an accomplished producer and remixer, having remixed the likes of Duran Duran, U2, Moby, and Public Enemy.”
