DJ AM & Jay-Z Re-Open The Palladium

DJ AM Back On The Scene In LA

DJ AM gave his first performance in Los Angeles on October 15 since surviving the deadly plane crash that took the lives of four people last month.

DJ AM, threw it down for the crowd at the grand re-opening of the Hollywood Palladium with headliner Jay-Z.

AM, who had visible scars from the crash, kept his energy high, cheering and waving his hands in the air during the rap star's set.

"I'd like to give a special shout out for DJ AM," Jay-Z said. He also paid tribute to Blink 182's Travis Barker, who survived the crash, adding, "RIP for the people who lost their lives. We'll party hard for them."

The two-person plane crew - pilot Sarah Lemmon and co-pilot James Bland - died within minutes of the crash from smoke inhalation and burns, while Chris Baker and Charles Still died from the impact of the September 19 crash in South Carolina.
