Pilot warns officials they'd run out of runway just before the crash.

The cockpit recording from the September aircrash involving Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM has been released.

In the recording, the plane's pilot can be heard warning air traffic controllers that his plane was "going off the end of the runway" just before the plane crashed, killing four of the six people on board.

Co-pilot James Bland was also heard asking for emergency vehicles to be summoned, reports the Associated Press. "Roll the equipment, we're going off the end," he said.

Controllers responded by directing other airplanes to steer clear of the site. "We've had an emergency, just fly straight ahead," a controller told another pilot, who responded, "We see it down there. It doesn't look good."

The crash occurred at the airport in Columbia, South Carolina on September 19 and killed both pilots and two close friends of the musicians when the plane crashed into a fence and burst into flames. Travis Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, suffered severe burns but are expected to recover fully and have already been preforming.
