Basque Nightclub On Fire At Hollywood And Vine

The most famous intersection of Hollywood and Vine was in flames at 5:30am this morning and has gutted out Basque and the adjacent business's just down the street from Avalon Hollywood and Capitol Records. Firecrew were on the scene and managed to knock down the fire around 8am.

The one-story building, built in the 1920s or '30s, is now home to the Basque Nightclub & Restaurant, was not open at the time. Basque is the spot where Lindsay Lohan got weird for her 21st birthday and Kanye West partied there just last week.
