iDaft. Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger.
Check it out. Work It, Make It, Do It, the idaft has been updated to include a pitch bending feature and now there's an iPhone app too. We still think this fun little console is good for a few minutes here and there to lighten the mood.
Just about everything you need to recreate Daft Punk’s Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger song. ..And everything you need to drive your girlfriend crazy.
Now you too can sound like Daft Punk with iDaft. It's a fun, silly QWERTY keyboard-triggered web app with all the vocal samples from ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’

Dubspot Teaches Dance Tech.
Richie Hawtin, Ambivalent and DJ Rupture will be among the DJs and producers speaking at the Ableton 8 Live Tour, hosted by Dubspot, later this month in New York.
The DJ/production school has made news of late with Time magazine even doing an article as plenty of laid off workers are in search of a new talent. That's one of the reasons that Dubspot has gone on the road, taking some of its instructors with them to 8 cities across the United States to help teach eager students about Ableton Live's newest release, 8.0.
At the New York stop, there will be two days of workshops. On the first, Hawtin and Ambivalent will be the stars of the show by "giving their own take on the process as a whole, covering unique tricks and strategies that help them forge the sounds of Minus." Meanwhile, on day two, DJ Rupture will hold court on the recording of acoustic instruments and how to set-up your gear to process it properly.
Tentative future plans... |

He Was King, Felix Da Housecat's latest album.
Felix Da Housecat returns with his 10th full-length album in August with He Was King.
Felix, of course, has a long history in dance music, one that saw him gain more mainstream exposure with the release of Kittenz & The Glitz in the early '00s. Since then, he's been busy traveling the world, making mix CDs and recently has even started streaming his sets live on the internet. This album, however, follows in a long tradition of studio work. It's his tenth, and will be yet another bid for crossover appeal. Says Da Housecat, "Whereas Kittenz & The Glitz was straight up electro, He Was King is straight Felix Da Housecat pop with a nice electronic feel." |
